Great points betall and harry
i just have a strange feeling they are gonna include gimmicks like high juice or parlays only
look at the state run lottery they put 40+ %in towards the prizes/ payouts and waste the rest 60% of the money. States need to legalize it and stay out of it. But I’m from Oklahoma and if u play black jack in Indian casinos u have to pay a ante per hand . Just ridiculous I live in Naples now and last night was in Miami the hard rock was Wall to Wall no ante on black jack. Not sure why the Seminole get away From antes and the Cherokee’s in Oklahoma requires it. Sports betting will be just the same way.
the tribe ships ante goes to the state as their tax . Now sports will be carved up and fees out the ass or parlAys with awful odds. Or 13/10 straight bets. I just can’t imagine a true set up in place that’s good for the public bettors. And let’s say the Naples dog track is my local out for legal sports betting
and my son lives in Norman ok attending college
is the point spread gonna be the same ? I know not exactly but locals adjust because of the local teams. Will the Creek nation in Oklahoma have the Sooners -7 and Naples dog track have the U +4 versus Ou?
Actually the Hard Rock is in Hollywood, FL
Anyway back on topic ...
you're going to see bigger juice, agree with Chazz, -115 probably, maybe even -120
even though I don't think they need it.
That's why I said they need the Pros to handle all this
they need to take a look at Nev. and copy their format. They need to legalize gambling and let the Casinos run it, and each State get's their Taxes
That's how they are going to make money.
Same goes for any Race Tracks that will handle any Sports Betting. An Outside ownership runs these racinos, and the State get's theirs
No reason the States should be running the Casinos
